The apple harvest for most of the United States is in full swing in early to mid fall. During that time you can find the freshest and best locally grown apples at road-side produce stands and enjoy some really great cooking with apples that were probably picked yesterday and traveled less than a mile to get into your hands. This is where my pottery apple bakers come in handy.

I’ve done a couple of posts on the pottery apple bakers already, and because they’re one of the most popular items during the fall, you can expect to see more posts about pottery apple bakers soon.

In an effort to entice you into getting a set of pottery apple bakers for your kitchen, I will share baked apple recipes with you from time to time. The first baked apple recipe I recommend is fairly basic and simple, especially when it’s cooked in my pottery apple bakers. Also, please give me your feedback on my posts on Pottery Vases and Pottery Face Jugs.

Thanks!

Thanks for dropping by my blog and commenting on my Works for Me Wednesday. Your point is one I didn’t think of! I definitely hate when I pull out dishes that have dust in them.

    Thanks for sharing!
